Tickets go on sale at noon!
It looks like Joe Rogan’s move to the Texas capitol is starting to payoff for the local comedy scene. Comedic legend, Dave Chappelle, will join his former opener, Rogan, to headline shows at Stubb’s Waller Creek Amphitheater for 10 straight nights.
Back in November, Dave Chappelle surprised the City of Austin with a trio of shows. As the comic juggernaut was fresh off a limelight performance on SNL, tickets sold out swiftly. Well, the Texas capitol will get 10 more chances to see Chappelle this season with his 10-night Austin residency beginning next week.
Dave Chappelle will be joined by comedian, MMA commentator, and host of the most popular podcast in America, Joe Rogan, on December 8 – 11, and 15 – 16. The remaining nights are billed as Dave Chappelle and Friends, with surprise guests in store.
Tickets will be sold in tables of 4, 6, or 8. For each show, visitors must wear masks throughout the duration of the performance. Additionally, each ticket holder will be subject to a rapid COVID-19 antigen test at the door. If the virus is detected upon entry, the ticket holder and those in their household will not be able to enter but will be given a refund.
Cell phones are not allowed in during the performances. Ticket buyers are asked to leave them in their vehicles. If they choose to carry their phones inside, they will be required to place them in YONDR pouches.
All shows will take place at Stubb’s Waller Creek Ampitheater. Tickets go on sale today, December 8, and noon. Ticket delivery is will call only. The name of the ticket buyer must be present with every one else at their table to enter.
