Welcome to Pumpkinland, Texas.
This October, Pioneer Farms in Austin, Texas will be inundated with an un-gourdly amount of fall festivity for their autumn-exclusive Pumpkin Nights event running all month long. [Featured image: @danimackenna]
Not your average pumpkin patch, Pumpkin Nights at Pioneer Farms is a fantastically imaginative and artistically driven experience that constructs enchanting sights, attractions, and monuments using over 5,000 hand-carved pumpkins.
Like Disneyland, but everything is Halloween and Mickey Mouse is replaced by Jack Skellington, Pumpkin Nights invites guests to stop in for a spell and experience the grandeur of the gourd.
Take a stroll through their bewitching half-mile-long Halloween walking path, explore the Forbidden City, Neon Reef, Maravilla Lane, and Pirate’s Cove, as well as marvel at their magical installations, including 10-foot tall Jack-O-Lanterns, the world’s largest pumpkin guitar, a life-sized pumpkin pirate ship, and a flying 40-foot handmade pumpkin dragon.
Additionally, visitors can have a more hands-on autumn experience at The Village in Pioneer Farms, that which is alive with food, games, and spectacular entertainment!
Pumpkin Nights features a rotating selection of food trucks on the grounds depending on the night. Scheduled eateries for this week include Ike N Aves burgers, wings, and tacos; Stony’s Pizza; and South Africa Food Affair. Seasonal alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will also be available for purchase.
