As if your TV schedule wasn’t packed enough already, the team at Paramount+ just gave us even more to add to our fall night-in agendas. The creative mind behind hit favorite, Yellowstone, Taylor Sheridan, is bringing us season 3 of Tulsa King and season 2 of Landman. Things are about to get even grittier for our favorite characters across the South and Midwest.
With Tulsa King set in Oklahoma and Landman set in Texas, the timing couldn’t be more perfect as we gear up for the 2025 Red River Rivalry in October, which coincides with the Texas State Fair. While we love to watch TV, we also love to immerse ourselves in the world these shows are set in – so expect to see some of the Secret team at the state fair.

If you need a bit of a refresher on the previous season of Landman and Tulsa King, we’ve got you covered.
What do I need to know before watching the new seasons?
In the debut season of Landman, the audience was thrown into the high-stakes world of the oil industry in Texas, introducing us to Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) who, along with his family, navigates the industry. Fans of the show will know he doesn’t shy away from taking some extreme measures to get the job done, often dealing with some fallout from his decisions.
Over in the world of Tulsa King, Dwight “The General” Manfredi (Sylvester Stallone) is a mob boss who, after spending 25 years in a New York prison, finds himself released in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The show follows Manfredi as he carves out an unlikely empire in Tulsa while navigating issues with his personal and family life.

What do we know about the new seasons?
In both Texas and Oklahoma, things are heating up. We don’t want to give away any spoilers – especially since the new season of Tulsa King is now available to stream, but expect to see Dwight face his most dangerous adversaries yet. Tulsa King is now streaming on Paramount+, with new episodes released on Sundays.

As for Landman, the show will plunge into ever darker territories, with Tommy finding himself navigating the corporate world as he deals with the aftermath of his boss’s death. Landman will return on November 16 to Paramount+.
What does the Texas State Fair have to do with this?
As mentioned, we will be heading to the Texas State Fair on October 10 and 11 for the Red River Rivalry. If you spot us there, we may or may not have some ways for you to even further immerse in the Tulsa King and Landman worlds… you’ll just have to see for yourself.
