Watch Movies Under The Stars At These Drive-In Theaters

Lights. Camera. Action!

In 2020, drive-in cinema pulled a U-turn out of obsolescence. The open-air theaters came in clutch in the throes of the pandemic to provide us with safe, much-needed entertainment and escape. While Austin has its fare share of amazing movie theaters, it’s hard to beat the film line-up at Blue Starlight Drive-In’s multiple locations around Austin!

From now through July 25, the Blue Starlight Downtown Drive-In will be hosting the ultimate summer themed movie experience.

This week, the cinema’s gigantic screen will feature 80s sci-fi classic masterpiece, E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, followed by another era classic The Goonies.

As the cinema experience isn’t complete without some in-theater snacks, the theater also features a wide assortment of classic cinema snacks and beverage options available for purchase on site.

Tickets to the cinema start at $20 for two people, and range up to $56 for a package deal available for cars over three people.

Parking is first come first served. The experience is entirely contactless, with audio broadcasted via the FM transmitter radio in attending vehicles.

Grab your friends, family, and pets, and snatch your tickets before it’s too late!
