What to expect at The Art of Banksy: Without Limits?
The new exhibit in Austin will provide a never-seen-before look into some of the artist’s pieces. Most of Banksy’s pieces are recreated using a detailed stencil technique that emulates the artist’s very own work, but you’ll also find multimedia prints, photos, sculptures, murals and art installations that plunge you deeper into Banksy’s world.
The museum-style exhibit doesn’t just showcase the street artist’s pieces: it’s an opportunity to analyze their poignant themes. Political conflict, police brutality, climate change, social justice and more… Banksy’s art always challenges the way you consume art and interact with it.
An interactive experience
Aside from staring in awe at Banksy’s impactful pieces, The Art of Banksy invites you to become part of the art. Premium ticket holders will get the opportunity to spray paint their very own t-shirt using a special stencil that features Banksy’s iconic designs, and proceeds will go to support the Louise Michel rescue ship — a cause that is very close to the artist’s heart.
